Mason was forced to retire in February, aged 26, after suffering a fractured skull during a challenge collision with Chelsea defender Gary Cahill back in January of 2017.
The former midfielder appeared 70 times for Tottenham before his career was cut short, and has since spent his time assisting 'Spurs' coaches as a volunteer across several age groups.
In an interview with Tottenham's club website, Mason said: ''I'm enjoying it. I've been in a couple of weeks now and it's a great thing to be starting a new chapter.''
He admitted: ''I'm fortunate enough to be in a position where the club have offered their help so it was a no-brainer to come back in and get cracking with my badges. At the moment I'm just observing as much as I can.''
Mason was particularly pleased about being able to stay involved in the sport. He said: ''I'm loving being back out there and being involved in football - especially here as well becuase it's all I've known for so long.'' He added: ''It's good to be back home.''
