Barcelona star Neymar believes Cristiano Ronaldo is in pole position to win the FIFA Ballon d'Or this year.
The Real Madrid star guided his club to Champions League glory last season, and under two months later lifted the Euro 2016 title with Portugal.
After falling short to arch rival Lionel Messi last year, the 31-year-old will be desperate to pip the Argentina star in this years award, something which Neymar believes is looking likely.
"Winning titles plays a big role in the race for the Ballon d'Or," Neymar told Lance!.
"Ronaldo won the Champions League and now Euro 2016 as well. So I reckon he is in a good position.
"Plus Ronaldo is a great player. I have no qualms in saying that."
Ronaldo and Messi have dominated the award for the best part of the last decade, with the Portuese star winning in 2008, 2013 and 2014, whilst the Argentine has lifted the trophy in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015.
