Messi joked with Fabregas, asking for him to be booked before laughing!

Fabregas tried to take a free-kick quickly after being awarded a foul in the middle of the field. However, the referee called it back, at which point Messi, who was beside the official at the time, asked Cakir to book his former team-mate.

As his suggestion obviously fell on deaf ears, the Argentine forward laughed and would continue to do so when chatting with Fabregas seconds later.

The two players are known to be great friends, after forging a connection during their time in Barcelona's 'La Masia' academy, in which they reportedly often shared clothes.
