The No. 10 shirt in the French national side is a big deal. Michel Platini and Zinedine Zidane are just a few of the names that make up the rich history of players who have donned the number on their back.
Lately, it was Dimitri Payet had the honour of wearing the legendary shirt at Euro 2016, carrying the side to a respectable second place. In the qualifying stages for the World Cup, Alexandre Lacazette wore the jersey.
But now, the baton has been passed onto Kylian Mbappé. The PSG starlet has his place all but secured on the plane to Russia and will be carrying the legendary jersey in his luggage.
Mbappé will make his first appearance with the No. 10 jersey in a friendly against Colombia at the Stade de France on Friday.
In other news, Lucas Hernandez has been given No. 22 and Wissam Ben Yedder will wear No. 24.
