The thoughts of Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone: "Experience is a little thing that can help but it's not going to have too much influence. We'll be excited, up for it, but also tense. We need to take the game where we want it and do damage where we can. They've had a great season, at home and on the continent. We're two similar sides. They've maybe not been together as long as we have but they're just as enthusiastic and work hard. It'll be a great final."

The thoughts of Marseille boss Rudi Garcia: "We have a pretty small chance of winning but we are going to give it our all. Playing Atletico is a big event for us. This is a club who have played two Champions League finals in the past four years, a club that won the Europa League not long ago. But a final at home in France is a fantastic opportunity. No French side have ever won this trophy; it would be fantastic if we could be the first."
  • PRVW
Fernando Torres could play his final game for Atletico Madrid today and he's been talking about his love for the club with 'BT Sport': “When you grow up in Madrid, there is an easy choice of becoming an Real Madrid supporter, and then you have the difficult way, which is to support Atletico Madrid. My dream was to be able to come from the stand to the pitch to score one goal. So in front of me is the dream final: a chance to win a trophy with my club. This might be the last chance I have.”

That set up a clash with Arsenal, with Atleti claiming a precious 1-1 draw at the Emirates, despite playing the bulk of the game with 10 men, before a solitary Diego Costa goal in Madrid secured them a final berth.

In the knockout stages Marseille have seen off Braga, Athletic Bilbao, RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg to set up tonight's clash.
