Chelsea v Burnley - As it happened

Full time!

Burnley have beaten Premier League champions Chelsea 3-2 in an enthralling game at Stamford Bridge. The Blues finished the game with nine men on the pitch after Cahill was sent off early and Fabregas received a second yellow late on. Incredible.

Chelsea chance!

Unbelievable game of football. One final ball is delivered into the box that pinballs around but Burnley clear!

Chelsea sub

Christensen is replaced by Musonda.

Four minutes of added time!

Burnley hit the post!

Vokes is fouled on the edge of the box and Brady takes the resulting free-kick. He hits the bottom of the post with a superb strike.

Luiz scores!

Azpilicueta fires a long ball towards Morata, he flicks the ball on towards Luiz who volleys through the legs of Heaton! Game on!

Goal Chelsea!

Alonso wants a penalty

Kante curls a ball into the box and Alonso appears to be pushed, but the referee waves play on. The Chelsea fans are not happy.

Morata shot

Morata finds a bit of space on the ege of the Burnely box, his shot is deflected but Heaton saves easily.

Chelsea down to nine

Fabregas picks up his second yellow card and is furious with the officials. The Spaniard flies in on Cork and gets a bit of the ball, but the Burnley man was there first. Correct decision.

Red card Fabregas!

Chelsea chance

Kante has the ball on the edge of the box and fires a strike towards the top left-hand corner, but it flies agonisingly wide for the Blues.

Yellow for Arfield and Luiz

Arfield arrives late on Alonso and Luiz complains to the officials. Both go into the book.

Burnley subs

Arfield and Walters replace Gudmundsson and Defour.

Christensen controls the ball on the right-hand side of the box and powers his shot past Heaton. Morata is there to tap in but he is just offside! If the Spaniard had left the ball it may have just sneaked in...

Chelsea have the ball in the net!

20 minutes to go!

Chelsea have pulled one back, they will need another goal soon if they are to get anything from this game.

Morata scores his first Premier League goal!

The Burnley defence goes to sleep as Willian crosses a ball in from the right. Morata runs onto the delivery and directs his diving header into the bottom left corner.

Goal Chelsea! Morata!

Chance Burnley

Another deep corner from the Clarets is headed just wide from Brady.

Superb save Heaton

First, Brady is booked for a challenge on Willian. Then, Alonso steps up for the free-kick and unleashes a fierce strike that is heading for the top corner. Heaton does very well to tip the ball over the bar.

Morata is on!

Chelsea's record signing replaces Batshuayi for the final 30 minutes.

Vokes header

Another corner is floated in from Brady. Vokes is at the far post but can't get his header on target.

Chelsea want a penalty

Alonso crosses in from the left, it hits the arm of Lowton but it is close enough to his body for Pawson to wave play on.

Chelsea chance!

Alonso bursts down the left again, his cross is deflected towards goal and Heaton has to push away.

Heaton save!

The ball is passed back to Alonso on the edge of the Burnley box, he lets fly and Heaton has to tip over the long-range effort.

Speculative strike from Rudiger

The German defender strikes from range but it flies wide.

Chelsea get us back underway!

Half time!

Boos ring around Stamford Bridge as the two sides head down the tunnel. Chelsea 0-3 Burnley.

Kante shot

Kante fires from the edge of the box but it is deflected out for a corner, which Burnley defend with ease.

Vokes scores his second!

Burnley have a free kick just inside the Chelsea half and play it short to Defour. He has plenty of time to stroll forward and pick out Vokes, who jumps highest to rise above any player in a blue shirt and power a header past Courtois. Unbelievable.

Goal Burnley!

Ward makes it two!

Cork curls a ball over the Chelsea defence towards the left-hand side of the box. Ward expertly controls with his chest and after one bounce fires the ball across Coutois and into the far corner. Superb goal.

Goal Burnley!

Alonso shot

Alonso has some time on the edge of the Burnley box and unleashes a strike with his right foot, but Tarkowski is there again for the Clarets.

Burnley on top

Defour is starting to pull the strings for Burley in the middle of the park. They are having all the possession here at Stamford Bridge.

Vokes puts Burnley ahead!

Lowton picks up the ball on the right flank and delivers a hopeful ball into the box. It is behind Vokes but he connects with the volley and the ball just about dribbles past the outstretched hand of Courtois.

Goal Burnley!

Ball in net!

Brady delivers a cross from the right, Tarkowski rises highest to head back across goal for Vokes to head into the net. The referee, however, gives a foul against Tarkowski for an arm across the face of Christensen.

Chelsea sub

debutant Boga is replaced by Christensen, who joins the Blues back line.

Yellow card Fabregas

The Spaniard goes into the book after sarcastically clapping Pawson for another decision.

Chelsea are down to 10

Cahill's touch gets away from him and he lunges in, studs up, on Defour. Craig Pawson shows a straight red card for the challenge.

Red card Cahill!

Chelsea chance!

Azpilicueta is in down the right, he delivers a low cross that pinballs around the Burnley six-yard box but Tarkowski clears again.

Good defending from Tarkowski

Willian does well to get to the Burnley byline. He delivers a ball into the box but it is easily cleared away by the 24-year-old.

Comfortable for Heaton

Fabregas tries to lift a ball over the Burnley back line for Batshuayi, but Heaton is quickly off his line to collect.

Easy save for Courtois

Brady floats in a free-kick to the far post. Mee is unmarked and heads into the ground, but it is straight into the hands of the Chelsea keeper.

Chelsea with the early possession

The Blues are knocking it around at the back with Burley comfortable to sit off for now.
