It was announced on Thursday that Barca had agreed a deal with Palmeiras for the defender, with the switch being completed on Saturday as the 23-year-old put pen to paper with the Spanish giants.
The Colombia international signed his contract beside club president Josep Maria Bartomeu, who was quick to hail the player's qualities: "Yerry Mina is a player with great talent who will make the fans very happy over the coming years," he delcared.

The player hismelf was quick to declare that it was an "honour" to be signing for the club, saying: "I'm really happy to be here. I want to thank the club president, God and everyone who made my move to the best club in the world possible.
"I want to learn a lot, win big trophies and improve the team. I always dreamed of joining this club and now I can say that my dream has come true. I just want to enjoy this to the max and remain clam, I'm going to take things one step at a time until I reach my goal."
