Defence: Nicolas Otamendi (Manchester City)

The South Korean winger scored and assisted during Tottenham's 5-1 thrashing of Stoke at Wembley. He also created six chances during the match, more than anyone else in gameweek 16.

He scored twice during Tottenham's comfortable win over Stoke and looked to be back to his normal self, which will please Spurs fans given their questionable form over the past few games.
Forward: Jermain Defoe (Bournemouth)
With his first goal against Crystal Palace he scored his 200th league goal, but his 201st was the one which stole the headlines, a beauty of a goal to draw his side level at Selhurst Park.
