The Catalan board are already turning their attention to the 2018-19 campaign, as they become immersed in designing the next 'Cules' squad.
An obvious addition will be Gremio midfielder Arthur, who has been the subject of constant speculation, as he nears his move to the Camp Nou. Although there are still some issues to address, such as when the Brazilian team will allow their stay asset to leave and how Barcelona are to negotiate their full non-EU quota.
However, there are other targets on the board's radar, including four of Ajax's young gems who are already taking Europe by storm: Matthijs de Ligt, Donny van de Beek, Frenkie de Jong and Justin Kluivert.
In fact, Barcelona have already had numerous scouts in Amsterdam following the youngsters' dazzling performance to gather information ahead of potential summer moves. Nonetheless, it would be slightly ambitious of the La Liga leaders to go after all four of the Dutch side's products in one transfer window.
In other areas though, there won't be any changes. According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the board have complete faith in Jasper Cillessen and Lucas Digne to offer adequate back-up in goal and defence so will not go after players in these positions.
However, to fund the aforementioned targets, some of the current squad will have to be sold. Andre Gomes, Aleix Vidal and Denis Suarez look like the obvious deadwood to be moved on so that Barcelona can make room for a new faces.
Despite the club's success, it still seems as if it will be an active transfer window for them in the summer.
