A whirlwind of late transfer activity closed the January transfer market on Wednesday with many Premier League clubs making late additions to their squads. Here are some of stars who could make their top-flight debut.

Eleventh-hour dealings saw the big-money transfers of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal or Aymeric Laporte to Manchester City go through. The Frenchman made his first appearance as the Citizens brushed aside West Brom and the Gunners may have to wait to see their £56million striker in action.

Deadline day was as hectic as ever with Olivier Giroud joining Chelsea and Tottenham bringing in Lucas Moura, while plenty of other business was completed in the top flight. Fans could enjoy seeing these new acquisitions make their debuts this weekend.
