Andriy Shevchenko (Chelsea)
The incredible amount of goals he scored for Milan meant that Chelsea dished out £30million. He only managed nine goals in 48 games for the London club, and never really made the starting line-up. He was subsequently shipped back to Italy.
Radamel Falcao (Chelsea y Manchester United)
Never really recovering from an injury that kept the player out of the World Cup for Colombia, he's looked a shell of his former self. The Colombian has only managed five goals over the last season and a half.
Park Chu-Young (Arsenal)
This player never really lived up to expectations, and is remembered by few at Arsenal. Managing just one goal over a three-year period for the club just shows how ineffective the player was. Park left the London club in 2014 to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Shabab.
David N'Gog (Liverpool, Bolton y Swansea)
This striker's track record isn't great, the player managed just nine goals over three seasons for Liverpool. Likewise when he moved across to Bolton he only managed to increase this number a bit to 14 goals over three seasons. Maybe he should never have played in the Premier League...
Jo (Manchester City y Everton)
Jo reportedly signed for Manchester City in 2009 for an estimated £19 million. However considering that he only managed to play 20 games for the club that works out at a staggering £950,000 per game. Considering he scored just five goals for the club ... well you can do the math ....
Albert Luque (Newcastle)
Luque was one of the first Spanish players to grace the Premier League, however his quest for glory failed father spectacularly. He arrived at Newcastle for £9 million, but scored just three goals over two years. The Spaniard was then sold for a fraction of the price at just £2 million. What a great investment.
Mario Balotelli (Manchester City y Liverpool)
Where do we begin to start with that cheeky Italian: Mario Balotelli. He didn't actually play that badly during his time at City, but there was always a feeling he was not reaching his potential. Coupled with the fact that every other week he'd make the headlines for all the wrong reasons, it left a sour taste in the mouth of the supporters.
Diego Forlán (Manchester United)
After having successful spells at Villarreal and Atletico, Forlan had a dark past in the Premier League. Sir Alex Ferguson signed the player from Independiente, but the Uruguayan never reached the same heights. Out of the two seasons that he had with United, he didn't even manage to score a goal in his first.
Marco Boogers (West Ham United)
We are pretty sure nobody will remember this player from the Premier League. In his second match for the Hammers, he managed to injure Gary Neville, and was accused of being signed just for that. He had to go into hiding for a week and only managed one goal in the four games he ended up playing.
Florent Sinama Pongolle (Liverpool y Blackburn Rovers)
This striker has managed to travel the world through his failures at different clubs, expect at maybe Recreativo de Huelva. In the Premiership he managed just eight goals in 72 games over three seasons. Not very impressive stats.
