The Spurs boss can't seem to catch a break at the moment, having first sold Kyle Walker to Manchester City only to see his back-up Kieran Trippier be struck down by an ankle injury.
That was quickly followed by fellow full-back Rose's interview in which he demanded Spurs sign players 'that you don't have to google' and insisted that he should be paid more. As if that weren't enough it appears that the 27-year-old may now get his pay rise, albeit at Spurs' London rivals Chelsea.
Despite the England international later apologising for his comments, many onlookers believe that he will now leave Tottenham this summer.
Rose has previously been linked with moves to Inter Milan and Manchester United but it appears that Chelsea are now in the driving seat, with Spanish publication 'Mundo Deportivo' claiming that Antonio Conte's side are prepared to pay over £50m for the full-back.
Chelsea have been searching for a left-back this summer, with their attempts to tempt Alex Sandro away from Juventus hitting the buffers.
Could Rose be Conte's man?
