Crystal Palace are keen on signing Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko this summer.
The France international had an impressive Euro 2016 campaign, helping the hosts make it all the way to the final.
And with the prospect of playing second-tier football next season, the 26-year-old is looking for a move away from St James' Park.
The midfielder played under Eagles boss when he was in charge at St James Park, and it was actually Alan Pardew who brought him to the Premier League for just £1.5m.
However, Palace may be unable to secure Sissoko's services after Newcastle placed a hefty £35m price tag on his head, which would be too big a sum for Pardew's side.
